| In 1993 following a persistent ‘vision’, Caroline Ward established the network
Women of Spirit which spread to almost 40 countries
around the world. The year 1996 saw the international launch of the now long-running women’s development program The Four Faces of Woman. First held as a seven day event in Mt Abu in India, the Four Faces attracted 350 women leaders from 42 countries. Since that inaugural event, where Caroline was responsible for leading the design team and co-facilitation, she has toured the Four Faces throughout Australia and the world. more>
In 1997 she drew women from almost twenty countries to participate in a leading edge event, exploring new ways of creating the future. In 1998 she led an international train-the-trainer program, qualifying women from 30 countries to facilitate the Four Faces program. In the 10 years that followed, Caroline designed and delivered The Four Faces of Woman retreats, workshops, seminars and talks for general public and across numerous cultural contexts. These contexts included different nationalities and political and religious traditions; with prisoners, corporate executives, politicians, police, young women, mothers, young girls in protective custody, illiterate women – finding that the model speaks to the truth of every woman’s story no matter the context. In 2005 Caroline travelled to Latin America to deliver workshops and while in Chile,
underwent an emergency operation. She stayed
on living in Santiago, Chile for 2 years.
While there she was commissioned by Ediciones B publishing house to write the book – The Four Faces of Woman. It was published in November of that year. She is now based in Leura in the beautiful Blue Mountains of Sydney, Australia and travels the world sharing her wisdom. |
